damn pity but i think he should hang around at 175, i mean hes not there long, there are 2 guys unfortunately for him 1 all and going for a trilogy which turki it seems wants and big cash on the line so he cant expect to just jump in the middle of that, there are other fights at 175 to keep him ticking over until one the the other 2 is available to do a unification with him, its not that bad actually, hes got a good profile now and will get nice paydays, im sure this one in saudi was decent

Man this sucks. I don't know why these fighters choose to run instead of taking these fights. I wanted to see Benavidez vs Beterbiev so bad. Two dudes with granite chins who do not understand the concept of taking a step backwards who are ****ers. That is about as fan friendly of a fight in all of boxing history and we're not going to get it. This sucks.

doesnt look like it, bivol will probably take the decider u would think when it eventually happens next year some time and beter may well just retire at his age so bivol benny could happen this time next year all things going well, which is not that bad actually the way boxing is now

He'll look fat at cruiserweight and Turdo just might stop him. It would kill Canelo to see someone else take over Cinco de Mayo.

Smart, hopefully he can move back down unless DBs plan is to campaign as a cruiser, unify, then move up to heavyweight.

Sorry but no sorry, Zurdo was never really world level in my opinion. He was never impressive when he 'stepped' up. I think Benavidez smashes him.

But I don't really see who else there is at 175. It probably won't be until the tail end of 2026 if he were to get a chance at Bivol or Beterbiev.

Ben has a fan friendly style and deserves to be a household name but he will never get that unless he defeats a BIG name... There's already one big name that cried over being 'disrespected' and avoided him like the plague.

Such a shame that everyone is ducking this guy. Especially the guy that got beat up by a WW.
Benny is going to end his career without legacy defining fights out of no fault of his.
He would have been undisputed at 168 if he wasn’t ducked by you-know-who and it appears his sojourn at 175 is practically over.

Watch how the haters say cruiserweight is weak and continue to talk sheet about Benny.

If boxing was a logical sport, Canelo would have been forced to face Benevidez years ago. Canelo was a good fighter but he would have been beat up by Benevidez. Instead Canelo chose to fight much lower level competition after his second fight with Golovkin and then he picks a blown up welterweight/ junior middleweight. Berlenga, Munguia, Smith, Plant, Saunders, Scull, Ryder and Crawford??? WTF?! Benevidez was the obvious choice over all of them. Anyone with half a brain knew that he was the most dangerous fight for Canelo.
