Look man, if he beats Jake Paul out of the sport, that would be the best thing AJ & maybe anybody else has done for the sport in a long time.

In a normal AJ thread, there'd be a lot of people saying he is the most shot big name in the sport.
I don't know if I agree, but when I look at it like that, maybe it's understandable why these two want this fight (also $). AJ needs it's to be safe, Paul thinks he's shot,
AJ will have a weight restriction, is coming off a KO where he re-injured a damaged ankle in the process, inactive 1yr, always struggles to find himself against shorter guys, and looked like a deer in headlights in his US debut.
Is this a Terence Crawford/Canelo situation where Paul has actually been specifically training for this fight for longer than is known?
All he wants to do is go some rounds with the champ and take his best shot. He's been a "pro" for 5 years now, I don't think it would be unheard of.
And maybe this will make you laugh - but psychologically, could Jake Paul tell himself that he's already fought Mike freaking Tyson and come out OK, what's to fear here?
At the end of it all, I think he wants AJ to give him the real advice on whether or not he can beat Ngannou. Like "Yo Jakey boy, I hit Francis with the same shot, but you took it mate."
If he can go rounds with AJ - then he can finish off with "real" fights that would have legit intrigue:
Ngannou
