I thought the fight was pretty close. I had it pretty close, and some rounds I kind of zoned out, so I probably missed a lot in those. Morales still won, though. At best Pacman gets a draw, and I don't think that happened. Morales won.

i feel sorry for people who love a fighter so much they can't bear to see him lose. morales won clearly, i thought 115-113 was far to generous to manny. lets face it, after the first 2 rounds marquez schooled his ass, and now morales has done the same. when you look at manny objectively, he has a lot of pace, is scary fit and is very powerful. but he is wide open when he comes in, and if you are quick enough to counter him he's there for the taking, barrera was'nt but marquez and morales were.

There was no way Pacman could win that match.

He deserves a rematch. Regardless of who wins (which I think Morales will again), these fights keep boxing alive.

I am a HUGE PAC FAN and even I have admitted he had defeat that night...heck I admitted it after the 10th round unless he knocked out MORALES! I do not know what's wrong with that guy, even everyone in PACLAND has admitted he was defeated that night.

Reasons why this thread should be deleted:

1.) It sucks

2.) Pacquiao clearly lost and even his biggest supporters on this site will admit that

3.) <----- That dancing banana now has more credibility than you

4.) When one hits the sauce too hard they say crazy things

5.) Just kidding mayne but no Pacquiao really lost the fight and his die hard fans who are rational (m00ks, thrilla, jomapac, kepsy, etc...) will all tell you that. Hell even evos admitted to Morales winning.

Round 6 Erik took off and managed to steal it at the end. Ten was really close but I gave it Erik.

Youre right, the 10th was extremely close, and I was actually leaning toward giving it to erik, but, I'm a hugh Morales fan, and I was worried that I was being biased. Thats why I was so relieved when the judges had the same score I did I keep telling myself that the day I cant be objective is the day I stop trying to score when my fav's are fighting. So I must have done alright!

Normally I'd agree with that theory, however, this fight (and the possible outcome) was debated month after month..it became the proverbial "dead horse". Because of that fact alone, nobody can expect any of the Morales fans to just 'wrap up' the subject a few days after the victory....be reasonable. With all the prefight talk and predictions, etc. we're gonna beat the outcome to death too..it's completely natural. And, you have to admit, if Pac had won, none of Pacs fans would even consider 'giving it up'! And I wouldnt expect any of the too either.
We've been waiting for this, so let us enjoy it!

You are the only pacfan on this forum who has not been making excuses as to why he lost. You admit the truth, and I am pretty sure every Morales fan respects that, and is not trying to piss you off intentionally. There were just far too many over the top extremist remarks following his defeat;

and they were not coming from you. Hats off Joma. I personally think you are the most loyal pacfan, being your avatar says it all. Win or lose. That is pretty fugging cool.

Add kepsy and mooks (and i'm sure a few others) to the list of those that are not making excuses....and RWK's youre right, the Morales fans DO appreciate it! Personally I love it cause it's giving Erik his full due..taking nothing away from his performance and accomplishment! I dont think the majority of the posters on this thread are making their comments just to piss off the pac fans....just gotta give our man props!

It is very hard to win a decision against a bob arum fighter in las vegas, usually you need a knockout. I had pacquiao winning the fight 115 to 113 or 116 to 112. I had him winning early and winning late. He brought the fight to morales big time and showed effective aggressiveness throwing and landing many more power punches. I also think he hurt morales more though when pacquiao gets hit it looks overly dramatic cuz he jumps.

the first time i saw the fight i had MOrales winning115-113, but i watched the tape again and i scored it the same score but in favor of pacquiao. erik won some rounds in the judge's scorecards because pacquiao is always off balance and his defence sux. when morales hit him it looked bad, so that is what catches the eye of the judge. the fight could have easily gone either way
