I wouldn't say he's overrated, necessarily, but he does duck. The much anticipated, Benavidez - Canelo fight was stolen from boxing fans due to Canelo being a coward.
It's that simple.
I like Froch but he never seems to keep the same energy when he see's these fighters in person.
He gave Canelo A LOT of accolades. He thinks highly of him. He also thinks he's overrated. Both can be true. I feel the same way. Canelo is a great fighter. But, his resume has a lot of *'s.
Froch is the average euro fighter but he has some good points. Don't even like carnela but I think he beats froch. He's a domestic level fighter who got clowned by another overhyped fighter in Andre COward
I sense Froch a bit salty on this one, not surprised really as Canelo has dismantled every single brit fighter ever faced and Froch wouldn't made a difference in an hypothetical scrap between them in their primes, you just cant call the ginger overrated whilst praising Crawford taking in the fact is his biggest W so far. Oh but Canelo tooks L's? And? Ali took L's so did Chavez Duran ,Hearns, Sugar Ray, the list goes on and on even some of them got K'oed pretty bad but they still great fighters. Cant agree with Carls take.
You can call Froch plenty of things but a liar isn’t one of them. You also can’t call him a ducker. You also can’t call him a cheater. However, All of the above does apply to Canelo.
Saul’s and Carl’s place in boxing history is nowhere near close to each other. One is an ATG and the other isn’t. Easy to see
Neither is an all time great. You’ve highly overrated Canelo for years. You even went ghost after throwing a fit on here when I merely said that Canelo beating Crawford wasn’t a given. You were sooooo confident in him. Yet there he was, getting embarrassed by a 38 year old welterweight.
