Why all the hate for Miranda?

A few days ago I started a thread from an ESPN report that Miranda might be the replacement for JT.....and the thread got flooded with hate for La Pantera Negra....

It got me wondering why all the hate????

I didn't think he was all that controversial or hated...so all you haters....care to explain why???? just wondering.....maybe you will teach me something I dunno bout this kat.....

I like him, hes raw but has good power and heart and can give anyone a potential problem if he is able to land. The Ward fight he was totally nullified with the holding so that wasnt very good but he deserves to get the nod if Taylor bows out over Allen Green. As far as the hate goes....what may have happened was when some fans found out he wasnt black they felt angry for having had rooted for him by mistake.

Everyone talking about his two losses to Abraham needs to put it into context. You can hardly argue Pantera actually "lost" the first fight with Arthur, he beat the **** out of him and was in the wrong country to win. Anywhere else in the world that would have been a TKO for Miranda.

I dont think there is hate. There is disappointment. He was hyped up to be the Mike Tyson of the middleweight division, breaking jaws and ribs, leaving people laying on the canvas, usually in the first round.
He was supposed to walk through Pavlik and take the belt away from Taylor.

It didnt go the way it was written, so people lost interest.

Now he finally has a top trainer in Joe Goossen and he will be displaying his new skills tomorrow night. If Joe can bring out the fighter that we all thought he was, then maybe the interest will build up again.

miranda cant beat anyone in the tourney..hell the same guy that just ko'd taylor already ko'd miranda and beat him 2 times plus he lost to ward...why would they put miranda in the tourney??why isnt bute in it??(would that mess up the 3 white and 3 black sceme???cause i see no other reason

why bring in a guy who has already lost convincingly to 2 of the guys in the tourney, he ovbiously can't win the damw thing. Bute on the other hand would bring another undefeated record in addition to a title into the mix.

People hate em because he has a couple loses on his record and that’s the mentality in here. However, I’ve always been a fan of his because of his entertaining style, warrior attitude, swagger, and his “rags to riches” life story. The reality is, not every popular boxer is going to be a world beater but that shouldn’t detract from being a supporter.
