Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall grateful ?gamble? paid off against Ekow Essuman

Jack Catterall recognises that replacing Jamie Moore as his trainer with Derek ?Bozy? Ennis represented a ?gamble?, but he is already relishing the prospect of linking up with the American again.

Losing to the guy Teofimo washed wasn't a good sign. Not sure who he will target at 147. The division is a wasteland.

He looked real useful in there at 147. I actually think he's faster then most welterweights, whereas at 140. Jack was quick but those guys have more similar dimensions to lightweights. At 147, JAcks speed and coordination, Combined with the somewhat aggressive and philly tough nature that Bozy brings (i mean what BETTER SPARRING than Jaron Ennis)

Styles make fights. Teofimo lost to kambosos, Martin, and Ortiz and will probably still beat most welterweights.
Jack now has a p4p former welter that he is Sparring and training with full time in Ennis.
Look what joining the Ennis camp has done for Andy Cruz, WHo is now fighting for a title at 135. Jack will probably get a fight with Crocker or Rolly. Mark my words he beats both of them with relative ease.

Rolly and Crocker have absolutely no business holding titles at 147. That's my point. The only real champ in the division is Norman Jr., and they will avoid him like The Plague after he decapitates Devin on Saturday.
