The welterweight division has historically been a marquee division in boxing. However, in 2025, it is going through something of a rebuild.?

Rolly, Barrios and Crocker as champs feels like it's a completely different welterweight timeline to Crawford, Spence, Ortiz and Boots.

What an absolute popularity contest JOKE of a list... stanionis is #10 for losing to the best 147 in the world in a unification, Coming back and beating a top 50 in Jabulani, but Donovan who lost TWO IN A ROW and hasn't won since is at #9? How the hell does that make any sense. also, Barrios CLEARLY beat Pacquiao but because of Nostalgia they ruled it a draw. Manny is not a world ranked fighter in this argument, If Mario wanted too he could have knocked him out. That fight was a sparring session that Barrios still should have won according to boxing rules. LEWIS CROCKER might be champion but COME ON, he lost to Donovan and Conah Walker..at DOMESTIC level. he is not the #3 welter. Rolly has ONE FIGHT at 147...how can he even be ranked there? forget about his fake champion status.
      1. Norman
      2. Barrios
      3.Stanionis
      4.Karen Chukhadzien
      5. Edgijus Kavaliauskus (robbed blind against Souleymane Cissokho who is now mando for the title)
      6. Rohan Polanco (just watch him fight, on eye test he beats everyone here)
      7. Shakram Giyasov (the actual #1 contender in the world in all 3 bodies overall)
      8. Paddy Donovan (clearly the better boxer even though he didn't win against Crocker)
      9. Jack Catteral (not gonna lie he looked good against Esso)
10.Pat Mccormack (Future Champ and best Amateur in the top 20)
