Could Pacquiao vs Cotto be boxing's next great trilogy?

If this fight is competetive, which I truly believe it will be, could this be boxing's next great Trilogy. Also, I'm not saying they fight back to back to back, but three times total (kinda like a Pacquiao vs Marquez trilogy if the third fight ever takes place).

If it is close I can see a rematch coming next spring. Then if the loser of the first fight wins the second one...later on down the road they can fight to settle to score.

Is there a rematch clause in their contract?

Before I thought PACvsMAC wouldn't even have a rematch but now I'm thinking differently.
A trilogy between these guys would be great if the fight on the 14th is really competitive which I'm sure it will be. I'll buy all three.

I don't thinks so. I think someone is getting knocked out, and that's about as decisive an ending as necessary

Its to early to say. Rematches and rubber matches all depend on the first match, no the the hype of popularity of the fighter before even having their first enconter.

              No way.

Too many other big fights ahead for both.

Plus, neither have that much time left in the sport.

We'll have to settle for just one epic fight.

For a trilogy to work...each fighter has to lose one fight.....so if pac wins by KO or something im sure they wont have a rematch, unless its close...

Also pac says he doesnt have many fights left... (i dunno why hes in his prime) but hey....hes gonna try get the biggest names he can right now

That might be what they're working towards if Arum can help it.

If they excite the fans, they could make it three-peat ala Gatti-Ward.

They stand to make a decent amount of dough if the re-match clauses
                  are in place.

If it takes the FOTY honors, I don't see why the fans would not want to see it again.

Just hope it lives up to it's billing.
