From a commercial standpoint, Vanes is going to be a JCC jr or Gatti or Juan Diaz. He will make a nice living fighting out of the LA area.

Vanes can pack the house in Glendale/Pasadena pretty consistently, but he won't make a real impact in the sport on a championship level.

He has a fight on Dec 12, so tell Vanes to beat someone in the top10 WBC so they will allow the fight to happen. Sergio is the champ and i'm sure if they allow the fight to happen without Vanes fighting a top ten contender than you'll see your boy get outboxed and get hit even underneath his tounge. Sergio may be the WBC champ by default as a result of the tragic events surrounding the late Vernon Forrest. So lets not act like he actually went into a ring and fought for and won a title.

go and double the articles. Vanes called out everyone in the division but he mentioned a few people excluding Sergio out of respect.
