Win or lose, Lubin is a real man in boxing. He only wants tough fights. That's a throwback mentality that you have to respect. It's men like him who make boxing what it should be, not what it's become with guys like Jake Paul being called the face of boxing by some fools. Gtfoh

Erickson Lubin is a very solid fighter and I have said it in the past that he reminds me of Oba Carr who was faced with the same bad timing in life! Like Oba who early on faced the likes of great fighters, wasn't able to seal the deal and become a champion but had he been fighting in another era, more than likely would have been a champion! I also don't know if Erickson is damaged goods, meaning from the past wars I just don't or haven't seen the same fighter, he's been hit a lot.

Preferred Ortiz response "You are a dummy and I'm going to test you to the point you feel you've been in a head-on crash "

Lubin is likeable but I'll be amazed if he wins this - Ortiz' level will need to have fallen off a cliff.. Stoppage by closed eye.

I can't speak on your Oba Carr comparisons but imo the jury is out on whether Charlo and Fundora are great fighters. Does Charlo get into the HOF at this point - maybe, maybe not - but in all honesty the HOF's not what it used to be - getting diluted as time passes.
