so if usyk beats wardley it was actually parker who takes credit for softening him & serving him up on a plate?

If Wardley gets dropped and stopped by anyone next, its correlation with accumulated damage by, most recently, Parker.

It is not causation, any more than Joyce losing his punch resistance after fighting Parker nor AJ after Ruiz or Wilder after Fury.

Whomever drops and stops Wardley caused that with their output and strength but with having taken a beating, even in a win, it affects future outcomes.

I would say that it is indeed causation, as the brain suffers injury from concussive punches, which is cumulative. Once that chin gets cracked, everybody tries to check it because they know the opponent's punch resistance is weakened

Causation is definitive. Correlation is speculative.

We couldn't say with certainty who cracked it and when ?

Maybe its the guy who just dropped you, maybe its the previous guy who hammered you even though you won the fight and didn't get dropped.
