How many years without that money? How many legendary fights? For the complainers of Boxing, Boxing is boxing, the red light district of sports, love it or leave it. The Saudis will realize Turki is blowing thru money like Al did the 600 mil investment money.
Once the Saudis realize the losses on the investment Turki is cooked. Saudis are businessmen, they want ROI. The landscape of boxing is full of the bleached bones of large money saviors.
Difference with your claim is Saudis wipe their a$$es with money. They dgaf about spending

Solid article but you should have included Tuki's back tracking on "NOR MORE PPV EVENTS ON DAZN." Killed his credibility in one swoop.

        I’m in total agreement
They all waiting for the money bag , same as chasing Canelo for a pay

There are less fights because there are less platforms so therefore less dates available for fights. I don't like it because inactivity is bad for boxers and fans. Boxing can't build stars if people never see them. Right now they are behind paywalls and fighting so infrequently that people ( prospective new fans ) forget who they are and why they should care. If Turki really wanted to help boxing he'd start up another broadcast or two.
Another thing , the atmosphere at the fights in Saudi is dismal. It makes boxing look like it's all but dead when its biggest stars and biggest fights are in half empty buildings with zero fan interest shown. There has got to be a way to fix that, the optics are terrible.

It seems to me that the better question (sorry if this has been posed) is this - what would be the report card of boxing right now if Saudi had not been involved in the past 2 years? I struggle to see most of these fights being made.
