In the 80s it was mainly Cctv fights in movie theatres. In the 90s when they knew people were able to afford 2 or 3 TVs in their homes then PPV became a thingComment

we were paying for 30 or 40 or 50 dollar PPVs all the time because we knew as boxing fans that's what had to be done for OUR sport to thrive. We knew the difference between the Nfl Nba and mlbComment

Dazn only came here because they saw the success of Floyd PPVweather. One guy can make 600 milly, 400 milly, 200 milly, 150 milly in one night. They wanted in. But they had no clue on WTF they were doing.Comment

The fact that PPVs were 40 and 50 bucks 30 and 40 years ago and they are only 20 dollars more shows how the powers that be in AMERICAN boxing have controlled the prices to our benefit is amazing.Comment

I can remember the cost of going to Nfl and Nba games back in the 80s and 90s. It was cheap as shyte. Now if you want to go to a game you have to decide between a ticket or your mortgage. Not with boxing. It is the same price.Comment

When Tyson fought Lewis in 2001 the PPV cost 49.95. Back then i could take $49.95 to the grocery store and fill up two carts with all the food I could want. Now in 2025 $49.95 will get me a bottle of ketchup at the grocery store but the PPV fight is only 20 dollars more. Thank you Al Haymon. Thank you Tom Brown Thank you Stephen Espinoza. Thank you Sam Watson. Thank you PBCComment
