So you guys want Lara to win too? Hard to root against him given how he is always on par with the best and has gotten the short end of the stick in close fights.

I wouldn't consider it an upset if he won, this would be the best fighter Janibek has faced thus far.

Lara’s past his expiration date , but he just might have enough in him to pull it off. Hard for me to believe he’s made it this far. Landy started his pro career about the same time as his compatriots Rigondeaux, Gamboa and Odlanier Solis. Of those, I thought Lara had the least promise. He proved me wrong and outlasted them all — by a mile. I’m actually proud of him in that respect. Kind of a strange bird. He could be terribly boring in one fight, then be involved in some FOTY candidate the next. Wouldn’t put it past him to deliver one last surprise.

I can't see it just because he's 43 but I hope Lara wins, he's one of the most underappreciated fighters I've seen.
Fought literally everyone and been on the wrong end of some bad decisions. Only one I had beating him was Hurd and even then you could no doubt argue a case for him.

He's always been one of the very best spanning multiple eras and weights even but bs decisions and poplarity don't let the guy get his flowers.
Fantastic career, hopefully he has one more in him.
