Respect to Kelly stepping up against a guy like this. I haven’t watched any of Murtazaliev yet but sounds like he is currently THE guy at the weight.

Tough division for him though. Boots and Virgil are guys that can drown Kelly’s style. Idk how he’d fare against Fundora, he could definitely close the range and would have a speed advantage but only for half the fight.

What would be interesting if Bakhram fights nothing like he did against Tim Tszyu and just looked average. It wasn’t that Murtazaliev was that good?

It was just that Tim Tszyu is that bad. He has no chin or punching power. He had been wonderfully matched by his handlers up until the Fundora I fight.

I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if Bakhram was exposed by Kelly. This would just only prove once and for all that Murtazaliev was just a one hit wonder that fighters feared for no reason.
