    WW Super Six

First off let me start off by saying I am a huge fan of the Super Six Tournament. I think it brings a totally new level of excitement to Boxing and gives us a great chance to see the best go at it without the BS Politics in the middle.

With that being said I would love even more to see a Super Six for the WW Division. There would be no more need for excuses or what not..

    Manny Pacquiao
    Miguel Cotto
    Floyd Mayweather
    Sugar Shane Mosley
    Paul Williams
Antonio Margarito (I know I know but it would be exciting)

I think it could and should be done if they can all put the BS politics aside. No picking and choosing fights, the best of the best fight.

It seems to me Boxing is the only sport where the best matches for one reason or another don't always happen.

    What are your thoughts...

Ironically...the politics that kills the sport also funds the Big Events we all pay to see.

Before we can talk about the possibilities of a WW Super Six, we'll need to discuss the definition of WW.

Unfortunately it would never happen. Also, I would take out Paul Williams since he has now moved past welterweight, no matter what he says, and Pac has to beat Cotto to be in this.

        Make it:

        Shane Mosley
        Miguel Cotto
        Floyd Mayweather Jr.
        Joshua Clottey
        Andre Berto
Manny Pacquiao if he wins, otherwise Antonio Margarito.

The same politics have already tainted the SMW Super 6 a little bit.

You should replace Margarito and Williams with Berto and Kell Brook.

Williams is currently at 160 and Margarito has stated that he was weight drained against Mosley and that he may think about going up to 154. I don't have a link but i read it here in BScene headline news a while ago.

Agreed, Berto playing the Abraham role and Brook being the untested overseas fighter.
