Fantastic. Just what we needed, another article questioning the honesty in boxing. We have enough enemies already.

From the article: "and the conspiracy theorists and nationalists". Exactly, people who wear foil hats and think Hitler was a role model.

Parker didn't say no mas and turn his back so so I'n hindsight was stopped prematurely,as Parker did give Fabio shot when didn't need to, so shouldve let Parker continue if he wanted to. Parker could probably take a knee or hold but was too proud to as that is admission your hurt
There's actually no right or wrong answer as ultimately ref has control. I've seen worse, more premature stoppages, so you could say this was in hindsight fair, but with a leaning towards being premature stoppage

These people would've stopped Ali/Foreman because Ali "wasn't throwing back"

Joseph is a veteran boxer and being a veteran if you are ok or hurt, you tie up, punch back or run he did neither!

his feet were too slow to imagine him running

was echoing Saul Alvarez the fast hands, slow feet guy

He held a high guard, slipped and deflected punches, played rope a dope and weathered the storm while Wardley punched himself out.

Parker was "maybe" 1 second away from launching his own windmill but we'll never know...

Wardley got a gift decision courtesy of a home cooked ref known for gifting decisions...imo.

Parker could have tied up, ran or punched more he chose not to and paid the price, but whatever is said, Wardley did not knock Parker out.

Still it's in the books. Cest la vie! moving right along...

Wardley battered him and stopped him.

Sooner you come to terms with it, the better.
