A few questions about this Wardley fight. Why would Joe take the risk vs Wardley when he had Usyk shot in stone? Oh he's a warrior... No he's a businessman, they all are. Usyk vs Parker doesn't sell in any big market, it's not a fight anyone really wants. But Wardley from UK has a big market and media machine behind him. Parker is a nomad, forever a B side outsider. Read he earned $3.4m for Wardley, that's a lot. Not counting any bonuses for if he threw the fight. Parker has always been used as a hwt pawn, because he has no chance of ever being an A side face of boxing level star (New Zealand). Just like Corrie Sanders, Gerrie Coetzee, Zhang, Bermaine Stiverne, were never going to be anything but pawns to serve the stars. UK market runs the sport with USA market but since there is no Americans, UK owns the market. Fury said the boxing establishment is controlled by the west.
