Comments Thread For: Kell Brook to fight Eisa Al Dah in Ricky Hatton tribute

Hatton was supposed to fight Al Dah in December but tragically died last month. Brook was last in the ring in 2022 and says Hatton was an inspiration to him.

Why would anyone think a 46-year-old occasional clubfighter with an 8-3 record against no-hopers (and coming off a first round KO loss to boot) has any chance whatsoever against Kell Brook at any age?

Kell should rematch Amir Khan or fight Paulie malignaggi. People wouldn't fight you until your face was broken on both sides, now you should get Malignaggi since his face has just been menaced, and he's looking like Chucky at the moment

This is just horrible. Boxing in NOT a game. How can anyone, specially people in the business not understand this, is beyond me.

It sounds like a charitable reason to jump in for Ricky's replacement, though this dude he's facing was there to face an older Hatton and more than likely keep it casual, lol.

Although Kell has been retired, he's still not in his 40s yet and he just might take this too serious with the emotions of Hatton and the fans watching. I'm not sure this makes sense overall. Probably better if it was canceled overall.
