The Duran of Montreal wins by pure swarming. Crawford never gets past Hearn's jab or his crippling power.

You forget one important thing, to Americans, we believe the world revolves around us. That’s why when we name the greatest athletes ever, we mention guys that nobody one in over 190 countries has ever heard of. And we forget guys like Messi, Ronaldo, Bolt etc cuz we’ve never heard of them. We’ve never heard of global icons but we believe Tank is a global star.

It’s true that in boxing The Powers That Be are trying to manufacture stars too much. Through hype and careful matchmaking. That’s why Xander Zayas is ducking Vergil Ortiz like the plague. Top Rank wants to shove him down our throats as the next big Puerto Rican star, and taking an L would ruin that.

But if these promoters would just get the hell out of the way and let the best fight the best we wouldn’t need all the cherrypicking and smoke and mirrors. Superstars would rise to the top naturally by being the baddest man in the weight class.
