TheIronMike, Ennis made the most of a risky situation. He was out of position and in potential danger of getting countered, yet he turned the tables on Lima at the last second. THAT's what makes Ennis dangerous, because he's audacious enough to take certain risks that others wouldn't. Lima landed his left hook and it didn't matter one bit.

The truth is the truth and I wouldn’t root against him nor count him out. This fight tonight was a joke. Something’s gotta give, he needs a legit opponent l. Whether he’s to blame or who he wants to fight are to blame.

this fight was dogshyt and there’s no excuse
Well, Ennis has the interim title now. Hopefully he'll face Baraou (WBA full titlist) in a quick turnaround fight. If Ennis beats him, then that may set up Ennis vs. Zayas for the summer.

I like Ennis. I'm looking forward to see where he goes. Does he go all the way and prove he's great, does he just hang equally with the rest of the crop or does he turn out to be less than what some of us expected? He seems really good to me though there are a few potential weak spots in his game. Does he get too reckless? Will his chin and toughness hold up against strong opponents? I want to find out. He's an exciting fighter and he doesn't come across like a douchebag. I like that.
