Sad, man. I just came here to report the very news. Junior was following in his dad’s footsteps, as a boxer. Only 17. Goodness. May the Lord keep his soul.

      Damn that sucks.

Flew home to NJ seated next to Gatti after the ODH v Bhop fight.

      Real good guy.

Horrific news. He was being groomed to be a pro boxing star for many years and developed some fine skills in Montreal. The Brazilian mother was a very strange bird who endlessly promoted her son on social media for several years. Seemed dysfuncti0nal. Then she and he moved to Mexico after she hooked up with some rich Mexican. Unstable life. A lot of people suspected Amanda murdered her husband and set it up as a suicide. Stripper/h0es in NJ are bad news. RIP Arturo, just tragic terrible news.

That sucks. I wonder if this means more money goes to the Ex? Like if something was left behind for the son and with him gone, now it moves on to the next in line, being the mother of that kid?

I remember the Brazilian police initially arrested her, then set her free after further investigation. I mean, who knows, sometimes people have demons those closest to them know nothing about, let alone the fans. It could be that Gatti did, in fact, kill himself. But, man, Arturo’s death was very questionable indeed.

Arturo had tried to kill himself another time before he even met that woman.

Yes the death of Thunder seemed very very shady when it happened and how a beautiful stripper/prost could charm her way out of a murder charge rather easily. Also I am friendly with Gatti's ex manager who was very very close to Thunder and also Arturo Jr, the ex wife and grandma. He said some shocking stories about Thunder's drug use in his later years and spending $30,000 in strip clubs and all his gfs were strippers. He also did try to suicide himself more than once when still active as a fighter and threatened to do it other times too. Sadly, Thunder is a symbol of the very very dark side of boxing.
