People forget that David Price easily beat Dave Allen

Allen is English level, which is below British level, Commonwealth level, European level then world level.

Don't get me wrong Allen can be a tough guy as shown vs Whyte and Ortiz, but surely Makmudov is better than English title level.

I'll be impressed if Allen wins

Makmudov is not a very good fighter. He's easy to get off balance and he throws the same punches from the same stance throughout the whole fight. He misses lots of huge punches that send him off balance and make him have to reset. He looked pretty bad even in previous fights before Kabayel. He's also got really poor stamina and his punch resistance doesn't look great either.

its a fight between 2 very fringe guys both of which will not go much further no matter what happens who wins most likely but its still a boxing fight at a good level so well done to both of them for that

Makhmudov lost twice on world level, but he should be good enough to KO Allen.

Allen is a journeyman.
