    The usual crap with Boots

Former unified world welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (34-0) is set to make the move up a division when he takes on Uisma Lima (14-1) in Philadelphia.

Just glad that fighters are coming out and speaking against the usual rant from Boots and his promoter Slow Eddie
His fans can say what they want but this has become a pattern that is very transparent what his game is
If Boots was all that , then why 4 exhibitions against fighters that will have no chance to beat him ???
Why does Boots always call out fighters only after having already scheduled fights , Bud Crawford , Virgil Ortiz

This is playing out exactly as I said it would . Ortiz fights a lesser opponent because the last 2 fights were tougher than expected.

For cover GBP uses the press to pretend other good boxers ducked him. Same stuff they used to do with Canelo.

How can anyone fall for this again?

Are you insinuating that Boots is not the one to be avoiding these fighters ?
How do you explain his next fight and the three more exhibitions he’s set to have entering the 154 division ???
If he’s all that , I can understand him having one exhibition but the fact he’s having three more relis us something imo

In this case, yes. I saw this coming a mile away.

No need to. The exhibitions are I assume to stay busy.

i think you’re looking way too into it. But ok that’s fair.

          This is the Boots pattern
A replay of him with Bud is what I see or can tell

Crawford was going to fight canelo. It makes sense for Boots to wait for that so when he fights Crawford he earns more.

But yeah he should be going after the top of 154.

He gets some fair criticism from you. I just knew GBP was gonna do this since those last 2 fights showed Ortiz is good, but not elite just yet.

Reminds me of the whole Zepeda / Shakur situation
GBP did come through, gotta give credit where credit is due

And Boots fights a lesser opponent because his last 30 opponents were as easy as expected, or... how does this work?

Golden Boy were not pretending Ortiz was being ducked, they even said outright that they turned down a world title shot against Murtazaliev because Ortiz just went through two very tough fights back to back. Why would they admit that and then lie about wanting to fight Boots?

It's crystal clear the one who is reluctant to face good fighters is Boots (or his father).

I can’t answer why. All I know is this is standard for GBP.

But Boots has faced decent opposition for where he was. He just got to the top of the ww division.
