When Terrance Crawford koed the guy that smashed Yordenis Ugas eye socket in 2022...it wasn't because Crawford was better it was because Spence's car crash in 2019, three years before he crushed Ugas. When Crawford beat "If I beat him everyone will say he was too small" Canelo Alvarez, people act as if Crawford had nothing to do with it. Canelo's seek and destroy style put light-heavyweights to sleep but didn't work on Bevel because he had a jab and footwork and didn't work on Crawford because Canelo is 35 and too old to beat a 38 a year old Crawford. It's never because Crawford has better jab and footwork that makes great fighters look ordinary but because they were over rated or some other BS.

I'm sorry, but there are too many examples in plan sight and don't even get me started on the police pulling guns on Crawford for the crime of *driving while black*
I get what you're saying but are you possibly giving too much weight to male losers on the internet? If you were to explain to your average person on the street what Crawford has achieved they would describe it as incredible. You're never going to convince angry male losers here that they're wrong so don't waste your energy.

How can anyone have a problem with Canelo being ranked #1 at 168 by any organization?

He has the best resume at 168. He defeated most of the other top contenders. He has a better resume than those he didn’t fight yet.

      A
loss to arguably the best boxer in the world doesn’t put him beneath anyone else at 168!other than Crawford.

Canelo's best days are behind him... them fights with G really took a toll on him, physically and mentally.

Canelo vs Sheeraz is a sure fire hit of a fight AND I’d still favor Canelo to beat Sheeraz.
I'll say that Iglesias, Sheeraz, mbilli, all had a very good chance of putting a beating on canelo.

Mbilli perhaps but flat-footed Sheeraz is getting KO’d. Don’t know much about Iglesias.

I’m no longer a fan of Canelo but I cannot ignore his power and skills.

You can watch Iglesias in youtube, his last fight knocked out Shiskin, another high-tier fighter, who lost a controversial decision to Scull for the IBF belt. I'll say that out of the three, Iglesias is the most complete and hardest puncher of the three. Please don't sleep on Sheeraz, he looked superb at 168. Of course, Berlanga is not this massive threat, and canelo is not the best boxer and does not have this destructive power, so I don't agree that he has the skill or the power to beat any of those guys. History is on my side; he has never KO'd a good fighter and has never won against an elite boxer in their prime. Well, he lost to Floyd and crawford and they were 36 and 38, respectively. Lara and Bivol were in their prime, and GGG was 36 and still won; he needed the help of the judges in that, too.

I will watch Iglesias for sure now. I don’t think Canelo will retire. He’ll probably fight three times and pretty sure the biggest fight will be Sheeraz in Saudi Arábía. Mark my words, Canelo will stop Sheeraz.
Let’s revisit this convo when that fight gets signed. It will be very soon.

I agreed, he has 3 fights left with turki and definitely one is going to be Sheeraz, he might win but I don't see a Ko base on past performances, and the fact that Sheeraz looks stronger at 168, in any case should be a fun and interesting fight. Please, Get back to me with your assessment of Iglesias one you watch his fights, he has some scary knockouts. Be safe
