Writer should have touched on how much judges get paid for judging fights, title fights, prelims, etc. This is important fact. Will there come a time when judges in boxing are removed in favor of an automated system that doesn't have a personality, bias, or any hint of favoritism?

I never thought that type of thing would happen in baseball, but they're rolling out the automatic ball-strike (ABS) challenge system next year in MLB.

Athletes who have put so much into perfecting their game don't seem to like to be uppercut by judges who haven't put anywhere near the blood, sweat, and tears into it and who have so much impact.

Yes, everybody knows the bigger fights pay more, would like to know exact amounts, no reason to conceal that pay scale info or if bonuses are involved.

Judging a fight is the easiest job in sports. For big fights, judges make over $10,000 I believe. Being paid to sit as a fan in the best seat in the house and score a boxing match - there is no easier job on earth )
