    Edwin Valero

This video is a good watch and doesn't drag. Only makes you wonder if he would had taken another path what he would had done in boxing.

He would have been demolished if he eventually moved up to 140

Dude was a wrecking ball but very raw. He was like Pacquiao at 118lbs when he was at 130-135lbs. Though his will to win got him past everything he lacked technically. He can throw nonstop and with brutal power. Very fast too. Man, if there was ever a fantasy matchup, Pac vs Valero would of been fireworks. No saying Pac could have won either because this dudes power was unreal. Though not to say Pac couldn't land on him either. It would have been incredible, no doubt.

Maybe, but just having someone around those weights that could be a challenger to some big names never hurts the sport. He could as well be another Beast Mugabi but I would like to have watched.

Edwin V was an active alcoholic and cokehead during much of his career

and was still that damn good

          what a raw natural talent

          trained often in Japan

an honorary samurai who looks the part with his long hair lol

His style more measured than manny maybe the Japanese influence structured slugging

One of the biggest "what ifs" in boxing history.

Had alot of natural talent, his best win is Demarco who quit on his stool, there was a time between the Floyd/Pac Wars on here where the site was Valeroscene. There were even polls where posters picked him to ko Bradley at 140 which is crazy. Its the record, same fighter same wins maybe a couple decision wins and no one would care much.

Valero will always be a favourite to me although I didn’t particularly enjoy his episodes, so to say
