Floyd never fought for or cared about legacy. He only cared about leveraging biggest payday in low risk/high reward fights. He thinks being 50-0 makes him great of all time. Delusional.

You come off as the delusional one.

Floyd wasn’t the cash cow until he beat ODH, a fight he chased for years.

He fought the best opponents that would fight him. That is how he worked his way up to #1 p4p.

Then he was presented a pathway to OSH and took it.

Let the hate go dude and try to be honest about his whole career.

Why did Floyd duck the rematch with Oscar which he was contracted to do for a year after the first fight? My theory is Oscar threw the fight and was going to win the rematch, so Floyd fake retired to duck it. No other logical explanation for Floyd to duck the big money rematch with Oscar, the biggest money fight there was for him at that time.

He never retired, he' still stealing money from very stoopid fans with his phony WWF skits. Surprising you haven't woke up to the scam Floyd has been perpetrating on dummy boxing fans by now. Floyd is the biggest fraud in sports history.

Your theory is idiotic. You hate Floyd beat Fishnets so you will create dumbass conspiracy theories like this. Only makes you look worse than usual.

From the interview with Shannon sharpe.

One of those losses came against Floyd Mayweather Jr in May 2007. Mayweather took De La Hoya's WBC light middleweight title by decision. After that fight, there was talk of a rematch scheduled for May 2008.

But De La Hoya knew he wasn't up for it. He told Club Shay Shay:
"No, no [I couldn't beat him in the rematch]. My body was breaking down. My body was over it, that was the last straw. I felt it in the 7th and 8th round because my jab is my weapon, I throw my jab and nobody can beat me and I just couldn't throw it so it was over, my body was breaking down. I fought [Manny] Pacquiao and I was a dead man walking."

They signed the rematch with Oscar going into a long training and promotional campaign. l'l floydy cr ack daddy say Oscar won that fight.

The Pressure burst l'l floydy into mucus flowing tears as he announced his retirement on the eve of their rematch resulting in Arum offering Manny to salvage the heavily financed promotion.

The rest was history in the making with Manny setting Ring P4P records that will never be topped in wins, KOs and consecutive years
