Although Dave Allen is the underdog vs Arslanbek Makhmudov, I don't think it is unconceivable that he can win. Skill for skill Makhmudov is a extremely crude fighter, also? His speed and athleticism is nothing special. Stylistically, it does appear like a fight where Allen can legitimately compete'.
Note: Dave Allen is also quite a crude fighter, but? I think there are subtle skills to his game which go unnoticed. The only real bad beat down he has sustained in the sport, was against David Price. Other than that? He has just been beaten by better fighters, who were too skill and in better condition'.
I don't rate Dave Allen super highly, but I think he has the attributes to make this fight intriguing. David Price was one of the most powerful heavyweight punchers of this era. Allen withstood a serve systematic beat down from Price, but to his credit was never decked in the fight before being pulled out of the fight by his corner team'.
To conclude: Arslanbek Makhmudov may have a high level of brute strength and power, but? His punches are technically not great, and he does not appear to be a very accurate fighter. There are by far more stylistically difficult and worst fights that Allen could be matched in at this stage of his career. This fight may just turn out to be great match making by Eddie Hearn'.
And in regards to Pat Brown, thus far in his career 'he just seems to be a solid fighter. I don't see any special attributes in his game, a very solid and basic fundamental fighter. I am sure that he can move up into the heavyweight division, but? He is going to need ether a sublime level of power or skill to compete against the Heavyweight fighters. Currently right now, I don't really think he has displayed any World to Elite level skills. That suggest and project in the future he can just wade up into the Heavyweight Division' etc.
