Does Terence Crawford have a case to be the GOAT?

Detailed analysis and comparison with other ATGs:

    1. He’s a 4-division lineal champion

Besides Crawford, only Floyd and Manny achieved this. But unlike Floyd and Manny, Crawford never utilized catchweights a single time in his career.

    2. He’s a 5-division world champion along with Leonard, Oscar, Floyd, Manny, and Hearns.

Again, Crawford is the only boxer on this list who never utilized catchweights in a fight, which brings me to my next point.

    3. He’s the only ATG boxer in history (excluding heavies) who never utilized catchweights in his career

Langford, Robinson, Greb, Moore, Fitzsimmons, Duran, Armstrong, Pep, Roy Jones Jr, Floyd/Manny, etc all utilized catchweights in their careers, some of them doing it very often. Crawford never did it a single time.

    4. He became undisputed champion in 3 weight classes

Henry Armstrong did it too, but Crawford is the only one to do it in the four belt era. Manny and Floyd never became undisputed in even one weight class.

    5. He’s the only boxer to ever hold the Ring Magazine belt in 4 weight classes

No other fighter has done this.

    6. He’s undefeated AND was never officially knocked down.

No other ATG boxer in history can claim this, they either have losses or have been knocked down.

Pound-for-pound, Terence Crawford may actually be the greatest and most legit fighter of all time.

Canelo was absolutely terrified of what was coming back at him & I never seen him React like that before. not against bivol nore golovkin. I figured it out, Crawford hands is like hot sharp knifes coming at u. When he was throwing it littreally sounded like scissors inside of a boxing ring. We all heard the sounds of scissors.

Left canelo with a pizza face. When ever canelo tried to get anything going Crawford met him with a bitterness and anger that was next level.

It was a time canelo saw the fight as hopeless and just tried to shake Buds glove just out of respect and in aw, Crawford told him no I want a fight, Again this is something that Kovalev, golovkin, bivol. Never could accomplish with canelo.

Canelo was tortured in that fight. I don't know why he wants a rematch he may get seriously hurt next time.

You're putting too much emphasis on the use of catchweights to penalise past greats, for a time it was the norm.

Undisputed is also contextual, in Floyd's and Manny's era the politics of boxing didn't allow for it. That's why P4P king JCC never became undisputed. Roy did it once at light heavy before WBO was fully recognised, Sweet pea did it at lightweight. They didn't have the opportunities to do it more than once because the politics was so fractured.

It was good enough to be recognised as the number 1 or lineal/Ring champion in the division to be considered elite

Today we're in the undisputed era where we have Turki throwing astronomical amounts of money to make undisputed fights happen. Turki had to pay Canelo 100+ mill to get in the ring with Bud, this would not have happened in another time
