Now We Know Why Pacquiao Avoided Crawford

The recent showdown between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez left no doubt. Crawford is in a class of his own. Watching him dominate Canelo so decisively makes one thing painfully obvious Manny Pacquiao couldn’t face him even if he wanted to.

Remember after Crawford after dismantled Dierry Jean it was my unofficial audition to potentially face Pacquiao at 140. The rule was simple, if you look good in that fight, you get a shot at Manny. Crawford stopped Jean cold. And where was Pacquiao during all of this? Nowhere. Likely hiding, hoping no one would notice.

Even Freddie Roach knew how formidable Crawford was. I had already faced a few of his trainees, and Jean himself had been one of Pacquiao’s sparring partners. Yet Manny? Completely absent. This isn’t just avoidance, t’s a glaring confirmation that when it comes to Crawford, even legends can retreat.

Crawford doesn’t just beat opponents; he exposes the cracks in reputations. And in this case, it’s painfully clear why Pacquiao ducked.

It was very obvious. They even tried to fight spence instead of bud.

Not only couldnt pac handle a counter puncer, but bud could counter you with bad intent. Wouldve been really bad for pac.

both were at top rank for a long time

manny should have fought TBud but didn't

TBud is a fast adjusting two handed counterpuncher with one punch ko power in every weight he shares with manny

TBud woud hurt any version of manny

"The fight must be at 140".

Why wasn't TBud as confidence then like he is now moving up in weight to fight Canelo? Why did the fight must be at 140 for Pacquiao?

TBud wanted the fight at 140! Stop acting like TBud didn't demand this! Why wasn't TBud as confidence then as he is now? Why did the fight must be at 140 for Pacquiao?

Crawford has no problem with facing Pacquiao but cautions that - "It will be at 140."
