Dirrell is my new fav fighter..

Yea, he made me into a fan. I didn't like him too much before this fight, but for a guy that young to go into hostile territory and be in a fight as rough and dirty as that one was without wilting....he deserves respect. Especially for how he fought in the championship rounds.

My reasons for picking Froch were because I thought the fight would look like that, and I thought Dirrell would wilt in the championship rounds and he didn't.

Props to Dirrell. He's only gonna get better. And he can beat Abraham if he avoids the big shot.

IMO, you can't win a fight without landing punches @ Froch fans.

Dirrell is good. He made it clear in interviews before the fight that he wasn't going to stand and trade, but keep moving and forcing Froch to hit air. And that's exactly what he did. Very good prospect. If he can develop more confidence in his skills he should do well, but he was thrown into the deep end too early. I don't see him getting past Abraham, but let's see.

Like I said it before, he is the faster fighter in the tourney, I think he fought an excellent fight, people should remember that Froch was putting a hell of a pressure on him and he did good. He deserved the win.

I could never be a fan unless he adds a willingness to fight to his game. Indeed, you cannot win fights without landing punches and Dirrell lands nowhere near enough of them to reliably get decisions when he spends most of the fight on his bike. Despite the general delusion, he actually landed very few more than Froch did. Dirrell needs to take more risks; the right risks.
