I expect Castillo to knock Wlad out. He knows Wlad's chin now, and heart, so he'll come in confident and should win. Let's put it this way, Castillo is probably better than Lamon Brewster, so...yeah, Castillo has a very damn good chance.

I won't be shocked if Klitschko wins, cause yeah Castillo hasn't beat anyone good, but then again, Klitschko hasn't really since 2002, if you count McCline, Mercer, and Botha. Mercer is probably Klitschko's best win, besides Byrd, ever.
I'm of the opinion that Klitchko will come into the ring with the intent to make a statement, and put on a big performance. After all, with his last few fights, wouldn't you? It wouldn't surprise me if it ended with Vlad winning by a 1st round KO. He has the offensive skill, and the power, he's just been missing his confidence since his loss to Sanders. If he doesn't come out and perform spectacularly in this fight, he needs to rethink his committment to the sport.

Nor would I be the least bit suprised. Game fighter, Game contender. Flawed like any other heavyweight is. People say: his chin and stamina sucks. Well, ok. Those are his flaws. I can name a few also.

      His brother: Akward, slow.
      Toney: Fat, Short.
      Byrd: featherfisted, undersized.
      Mesi: chin, slow.
      Ruiz: unskilled, ******ed, clinchy
McCline: strange compact punches and odd noises.
Peter: Slow, lacking stamina (the lean foward clinch).
      Tyson: Overrated, undersized, folds.
      Golota: his conscience.

A featherfisted fighter will be demolished by Wlad.

I don't know, I didn't see the Moorer-Holy fight but the other two losses were to fighters with huge punches. I mean, Foreman has the type of power even now that can have you in big trouble no matter what part of the head he lands on, if it's a clean punch, and I won't even talk about Tua. I agree with you though, Wlad's just too big and has pretty fast hands for his size as well as big power. But he really needs to force the action early and end this fight in abrupt fashion the way he used to, at least then it would answer one question, "Does he still want to fight?" This coming from a Klit fan.

I don't know man when Wlad tries to make statements he punches himself out. It that's what he tries, Castillo better have a weak chin.

I saw the Moorer / Castillo fight. Castillo looked fast and strong but he looked inexperienced, and didn't seem to have more than average HW power. I think Moorer looked bad more than Castillo looked good.

Castillo may have a bright future but I think he's several fights away from being ready for a top ten opponent. This should be a good chance for Wlad to gain some confidence.

Hey man, you know he was right. It just absolutely boggles the mind how you guys will jump on an illogical bandwagon, i.e. Wlad has a bad chin/stamina.

Every time someone spouts this nonsense, I wanna just reach into the computer screen and pull the idiot out and put my foot in his ass.

Wlad, my friends, has NEITHER a bad chin or bad stamina, and you would have to be a doofus to think so. All you have to do is look at his previous fights. The man has gone well into the later rounds without trouble in many fights.

And a weak chin? You can't be serious. The shot he took from Sanders would have knocked out anyone. Except for someone with a really stiff chin like Tyson. And Brewster didnt knock the man out. Wlad handed him his ass for the entire fight before the drugs he was given in his water kicked in. What Brewster did was just hit a man that was unable to defend himself because he had been drugged. And if you dont think he was drugged, and you dont think that things like that happen in the world of pro-boxing, then you really know nothing of how the real world works. He was drugged, get over it.

But my preaching is done. I will let Wlad's future fights and ultimate belt-holding speak for itself. And when he does have a couple belts in hand, and defends them successfully, I expect you Wlad haters to forever shut your know-nothing traps.

i like wlad, but the drugged theory is just that a theory... i dont know what happened, but saying that he was drugged without any real evedince sounds like a bad excuse...

at the same time i agree with you that wlad has shown a decent chin and heart by getting up from several knockdown's and has shown good stamina by brutalizing mercer and byrd with lots of punches even later rounds...

what happened against brewster, i dunno, i just hope he rebounds and becomes the pre-sanders wlad... a few good wins and he'd right back in the thick things just like rahman and barret....
