So let me get this straight, the blue print for Crawford to stop Alvarez tonight is Crawford's fight against Victor Postol? Smh,
who takes this guy seriously anymore?

Stephen Breadman did pretty well here especially with the body work which I also feel is the most important part of this fight. Crawford also must rely on a solid defense more than in past history where smaller lighter hitting guys were able to land consistently, because Canelo is heavy handed and has a tendency to wear fighters down over the course of the fight. I personally can't invision Canelo being stop unless the whole fight is at a high pace which Canelo not great at and he's being countered often and Crawford is effective going to the body. I still favor Crawford unless he gets hurt and doesn't have the ability to recover quickly.

There is probably a very good reason opponents don't go to Canelo's body.

This fight breakdown doesn't to into account things that Canelo does well, nor adjuments Canelo might make.

I think it’s a bout that Crawford can win as well, but doubtful that Crawford stops him.

Canelo has one of the best chins in the game right now.

140 pounder Postol went to the scorecards with TBud who was landing all kinds of counters

So TBud is going to stop Saul who has more defense, chin, size, skills, and experience lol

and stop simping for internet strippers

I get the point he’s making. I would think the key is to use the jab as much as possible.

Breadman knows a hell of a lot more than me or any other poster so you can’t just dismiss his opinions.

Stick and move won’t work against the slower Canelo? Let’s not forget Crawford has longer arms and better footwork. I hope the fight doesn’t end up like this, but it could.

Even Crawford doesn't think he can stop Canelo, he's practically said as much.

This is like when you want somebody to win so bad you start inventing scenarios in your head to convince yourself, then you look back after the fight and wonder what the hell you were thinking.
