He’s a lot better than his record indicates.

I think Nelson is a bit underrated himself and should win though

WTF is that outfit that Nelson “designed”? Literally like something I might’ve worn as a five year-old, pretending to be a superhero.

Nelson was hurt but ref panicked.

I missed the last fight was that stop similar or worse?

Seemed like a bit of an early stoppage there… but props to Santana. Took some losses , but has onky
improved and also stayed sharp/active in the TCL.

Bad stoppage, but Nelson was in trouble for sure.

True. He was on point and saw his chance and went for it. Nelzon couldn't defend, everything was landing, and that was a classic situation that makes a ref step in and wave.

Was a journeyman who was outclassed and he was buzzed a couple of times but always punched back
the stoppage the guy wasnt hurt at all and was never seriously hurt but the ref jumped in

Akale the guy who was stopped was furious and rightfully so as it would have cost him future paydays even if it was against a prospect

These guys can make money for being durable so taking that away from them can be costly for his pockets in the future the others dont agree but i think it was a terrible stoppage and it was to build up the prospect more

It was on par with some of Calzaghes terrible stoppages

Considering Verde has about 2 pro bouts, think he has been match alright in this bout, Akale is 37 years old who had a record of (9-3). Nothing spectacular, but at least he has been training for 6 years as a pro.

Think Verde needs to fight Vladimir Hernandez next year.
