Tuesday, October 20 at the Isleta Hotel Ballroom A in Albuquerque , New Mexico the world’s top female welterweight Holly Holm (25-1-3, 7 KO) and her challenger Melissa "Hurracan" Hernandez (11-1-2, 4 KO) will both be present at the official announcement of their December 4, 2009 title bout. Their fight is a defense of Holms' WIBA Welterweight title to be fought at a lower catch weight, and promises lots of excitement. Promoter of the event Lenny Fresquez said, "We are enthusiastic to make this fight happen. It’s the first time I have seen Holly hostile towards an opponent." Hernandez, always a tough competitor, who is moving up from super featherweight to fight Holm, promises an upset. "The Tall will Fall on December 4!"
