He still made Cotto say uncle though, and until proven otherwise Cotto needs to avenge that loss if he wants me to think it is tainted like him and his fans do.

I think he would if he could, he seems to fight anyone.

Margs would of course have the psychological advantage like he did 2nd time versus Cintron.

Knowing you can walk through a man's best and keep coming helps Margarito to think he can do it again.

        He's a disgrace

Margarito should be banned for life. It's a real shame he's going to get a chance to come back. Boxing can be a brutal sport. There should be ZERO tolerance for people who feel that pounding on somebody with casts is o.k. I wonder how forgiving we would be if he had seriously hurt somebody...as in hospital...for a long time... or caused a permenant injury of the brain or other faculty....I am sure we wouldn't take it so lightly. ZERO TOLERANCE-period.

Margarito said that he wanted revenge against Shane Mosley. But saying and doing are two different things. I know Mosley will never give him a shot again, but after Paul's fight with Pavlik, I think if Margarito had any balls he'd try to get that fight. But he won't though, because he is **** above 147.

I actually think he would do a ton better in a rematch but don't feel like explaining it here to be honest.
He may not win, but he'd give a better account of himself if he fought SSM again.

Possible. But don't you think that a reason to lose respect for the guy is letting success go to his head? That is one of the main reasons I don't have any respect for Margarito. He said he had no score to settle with Paul Williams and that he would gladly fight Manny Pacquiao. Chicano79, where you at?

There was a rift between Arum and Williams people about the Margarito fight so that may be at play.
He wants to cash in with Pac quite obviously.

                  "I want Margarito back."

I don't, other than perhaps to have a rematch with Cotto. No doubt in a rematch Cotto would destroy him basically, and maybe a rematch with Mosley only to be murdered again, then he'd go into retirement.

Because I think Cotto will be more mentally prepared than Margarito and more determined to win the fight. The strong will you saw that night when he was fighting Cotto may have faded away after Mosley, plus he's going to feel pressured to prove to everyone that beating Cotto wasn't a fluke or the product of cheating. I think the KO loss to Mosley and the plaster scandal have taken a toll on him.

Not going to say whether I think he cheated against Cotto or not, but if Cotto fought the wrong game plan now he can correct it in a rematch and learn to adapt this time. I just feel Cotto's determination will overcome Margarito overwhelmingly if they ever had a rematch.
