          Respect to Ryder. He probably should have been given the nod in the Smith fight but also got the benefit in the win over Jacobs. He was a tough, durable fighter who made a good career despite not being the most gifted athlete.

            Ryder was a hard night's work for most throughout his career. A tough, gritty no-nonsence fighter. He should be proud of his career. Happy retirement John! It's a credit to you that you are now passing on your knowledge to the next generation.
