I don't know. I mean, it didn't make sense to make him #1 in the first place. They did it to hype up Ennis. It's only after the petition, when they really didn't have a leg to stand on, when they relented.

    Same old stuff.

Wonder how much that cost and will cost to have that adjustment made in the rankings..................Not that it is wrong just that making something right again in Boxing can cost you down the line..........

Ennis shouldn't have been in consideration to receive the #1 spot anyway. He hasn't debuted at 154lb, and he didn't have the WBC 147lb title. As usual, sanctioning bodies being corrupt and dumb.

and yet Vergil won't even fight his own mandatory?

dude just wants to be the eternal interim champ.
Why doesn't Bohachuk and Murtaliev just face each other and stop complaining they don't get people to face them?

Didn't FUNDORA drop the WBO to NOT face his "Mandatory" Zayas to faced Wrecked Tim and Now is Planning to Face NO TIME Thurman instead of his WBC "Mandatory"?

easy decision to make when ennis chose to go the wba route. we be clowns. where were they when fundora had 2 belts and 2 overdue mandatories? when fundora skipped zayas (wbo mandatory), it should have been vergil next (wbc mandatory) automatically. 3 voluntaries in a row after a gift title shot for fundora but other fighters have to wait.

That US privilege in action again. Who needs to beat ranked opposition where you're an American with promoter and media backing?!

The Spence ranking was even more egregious.

But at least they relented, and made Bohachuk #1!
