I agree....but i get the sense he signed him to keep him away from the titles. While Kabayel should be the one of the hottest contenders out there....i think he will be put out as the guy who keeps the euro hopefuls at bay while they try to keep the UK heavyweight scene from floundering its way back to regional title fights.

I think Kabayel was offered a promo deal for facing Zhang (think Warren promotes him or did the time). It sounds like it’s just a fight-to-fight deal which isn’t too bad. But when it’s (outside of Usyk) mainly British heavies running the division I guess you would feel pressured to go with a British promoter.
