Is Oscar Collazo not planning to beat the other champions? I don't see him moving up to Light Flyweight any time soon.

Melvin won his belt in March 2025 and lost to Collazo 2 years ago. I think he wants to make the most of having a belt and try to make some $. All the risks and sacrifice needs to pay off especially in a weight class with fewer big $ fights.

I expect a unification sooner or later, Collazo tends to mention this in his post fight interviews etc.. He hopes it will bring attention to the weight class and hopefully it will.

Collazo is currently at a division with pretty good challenges for him, just seems irritating that he is not taking them immediately.
