Floyd only fought 2 career welters in Baldomir and Berto and one naturally bigger fighter in Canelo which deserves credit but if you look at all his other 147 defenses they are mostly former champs from feather to Jr welters.
Do you think a fight with Tommy Hearns would be the same as the Corrales fight?
Floyd is an amazingly great fighter all time but not at welterweight.
He beat Canelo and Cotto at 154. That's a natural lightweight who did that. Neither fight was close. And throw in Oscar. That's three HOF fighters he beat convincingly way above his best weight. Ray struggled anytime he fought above 147. Go watch the Kalule and Marcos Geraldo fights.

That's funny because half the "experts" picked Corrales to beat Floyd. Max Kellerman even picked Chico. Vegas had the fight even money or Floyd an 8:5 favorite. Let's state the truth and stop revising history.

The two best guys in their prime that Floyd faced were Corrales and Castillo. It's kind of laughable when you think about it.

Was Floyd in his prime when he easily washed Cotto, Canelo and Manny? Asking for a friend.

Cotto, Canelo, and Pac definitely weren't in their prime.

I enjoy reading Breadman, but one thing I do not understand at all is when he includes a letter in order to say he doesn't want to have a voice in the matter. That's fine, but well, then, why not just choose another letter to actually answer? It's silly to publish a question that you don't want to answer.
