Yup, now they really got to push Ortiz and make up these stories how avoided he is. I think Ortiz is one of the young top fighters out there but they are stretching that narrative. Fundora would had been a winnable fight and they did not go for it, Murtazaliev has been labeled a boogey man but has not really beaten anyone of not except for an over-rated Tim.

It isn't necessarily quality of competition that signifies a boogeyman, but how prospective opponents always seem to have another opportunity lined up when the "boogeyman" enters the conversation. The "boogeyman" is never the first option and they always have trouble getting the most relevant names because they are deemed high-risk. Murtazaliev didn't just defeat Tszyu; he trashed him. That's really when people started claiming Tszyu was overrated...because he got beat up by someone who struggled with Jack Culcay. However, what I didn't realize was that Murtazaliev trained and fought Culcay during Ramadan. Team Tszyu made a major miscalculation when they chose Murtazaliev, and now no one else wants to make the same gamble.
