Unfortunetly, K-9 didn't win his fight with Powell but its all in what you do after the first defeat of your career. Alot of ppl can't come back strong after losing a fight.

K-9 has great mental strength and the way he came back strong after the loss to becoming a finalist on the contender thats amazing. I actually believe that K-9 got robbed by stevie forbes b/c it would have been a great investment for the contender in forbes.

After the loss to powell K-9 went on a winning streak 6-2...In my opinion 7-1...All top fighters those guys record combined is 176-30 K-9 is a real great guy outside the ring as well not to many boxer can stay humble and have a very successful career at the same time.

He has come a long way from the guy who was laughed at and derided by the other fighters on the 1st episode of The Contender.

One of the only true overachievers in boxing today. He deserves everything he gets and is a fighter that all fans should appreciate.
