Poor Boots has Mike McCallum syndrome. Boots is so good and no big names want any part of him! The old saying too much risk, not enough reward.

I think this is a good fight. When you move up, get a good strong durable guy who can fight. It doesn't have to be the top guys yet. This is wise from a boxing point of view. Plus, until some real names can not only agree to fight Boots, but agree on the money and not price themselves out, Boots needs activity. I'd rather see Boots stay active than to sit around waiting for specific guys who aren't easy to make a fight with. Inactivity is bad for a fighter. Too many guys in this sport today are inactive, sitting around waiting for who they wanna fight. That's wack.

Every boxer has an excuse when a fight doesn’t happen and so do their respective fans.

On this context. I’m ONLY responding to the Ortiz comparison. What I wrote is pure facts.

Now, regarding the guy Boots wants to fight, of course that’s a joke of a fight. Boots should be going after the belt holders not some guy phone if is has ever heard of prior to this announcement.

Teo’s own promoter is questions Teo’s sanity. Two turned down a 7 figure payday. Against who? Haney!!!
You think he’s about to fight Boots???

That is true. If Ortiz fans are good with him fighting Dulorne, they should have no issues with Boots fighting this guy.

ortiz turned down a fight offer from Murtazaliev last time out so they are all at it actually, some worse than others of course
