Nah, he failed two separate tests.

      They all have convenient excuses.

This happened to Kell Brook when he had a couple moments of success against GGG, until getting battered and stopped, and also Amir Khan outboxing Canelo until getting KTFO. I agree with Bread on most of his assessments, but not on this one. I haven't seen anything from Benavidez, and certainly not Opetaia to think that either one of them could beat Usyk, but clearly Bread has forgotten more about boxing than I'll ever know, so whatever, haha

I have the same thoughts. I rarely disagree with Bread but as much as Canelo has resorted to cherry-picking his way into a very lucrative retirement, there is no way I am betting against him in the Crawford fight. Canelo will land a very violent overhand right. There is no doubt about that.

The other thing I disagree with him is picking Hatton and Khan as some of the best 140 Ibs fighters since WW2. How? I’d pick Gatti over both and I’m not even a fan of Gatti. I know he usually picks off the top of his head but there are a few Jr WW guys that far outrank Hatton and Khan.

I wouldn't mind seeing Usyk fight Opetaia and Benavidez. I really like that Opetaia fight actually. It'll be Usyk against faster and smaller guys. Something he hasn't seen in a minute.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Usyk moving back down to Cruiserweight and ending his career there. He did say he was interested in a move back down late last year. If he thinks he can make it safely why not give Cruiserweight undisputed another go? That would be legendary.
Just think of the potential match-ups: Opetaia, Zurdo, Bivol, Beterbiev, and Benavidez.

I do think Usyk should fight at Heavyweight at least one more time however, against Parker. Parker is another great name to add to his resume.
Maybe Opetaia, Bivol, Beterbiev, or Benavidez would also be in favor of fighting Usyk at Heavyweight if the money is right. Those would be big fights so I imagine the money would be great.

They need to include the organizations that sanctioned the fight, too.

Canelo has an all time great chin and has been able to take punches from bigger fighters then Crawford for a long time now, yet bread man slightly leans on durability to Crawford? Laughable.. also Crawford was hurt on multiple times in multiple fights and although the knockdown that wasn’t called vs mean machine is unofficial it’s still a knockdown… and he also says Crawford edges canelo in defense because he is an elite counter puncher? But gets hit when he engages and canelo has developed into a guy who moves forward and still makes you miss and pay. Canelo is by far the better boxer out of the two and it will be clear on the 13th of September

I thought canelos hair follicle proved him to be clean and also, didn’t he enroll in vada 365 for the second ggg fight and proceeded to out Mexican style Mr Mexican style?
