It's only now that he looks back regretting not making any offer of compensation to EDLS as a way to make him accept the fight.

In my view, EDLS would have accepted the fight, but Lewkowicz injected himself heavily. Lewkowicz didn't even ask his fighter what he wants to do. Nor did he try to negotiate with Davis about the amount of compensation agreeable to EDLS. He canceled the fight unilaterally. No wonder Santos ended his relationship with him.

Keyshawn, come on man! Nice try, at least you had a strategy lol. Well scripted pre and post fight comments and interviews. Talking about your faith etc. and it was working. Now, the entire family looses $.

He needs to look back at all his fights, his behavior rarely matched his words. He got busted, the world knows who he is and now he can only rely on his fists, quality opponents to get to where he wants to be.

The business man didn't follow the business plan after the fight was cancelled.

"You don't play boxing" but you played with the weight and were ready to play with another man's life..

he had a big hometown gig ready to go, im sure fans bought tickets to see him, he knows he is way off weight, his actions seem to have had a knockon affect with his opponent and his coach who probably just decided i have to do the right thing here as i see fit and pull him out just in case of added danger with a bigger opponent coming off a few KO wins, i think it should be up to the opponent to slap a charge on keyshawn if he wants to and go ahead with the fight if he want to do that, boxing allows all sorts of weight differences in the ring with all this water crap they introduced as standard literally every fight

SO, Keshawn realized during FIGHT WEEK that the weight wasn't coming off? A little late, wasn't it?

"Davis heard his opponent still wanted to fight but the Dominican's team withdrew De Los Santos. Days after the bout, De Los Santos split from manager Sampson Lewkowicz"

De Los Santos should have thanked Lewkowicz for saving his ass. Davis at the proper weight would have beaten him badly enough, but coming in heavy, he would have damaged him.

I don't believe anything he says. He is just back pedaling because of the backlash he received for his appalling behavior. We have seen the real Keyshawn when he was full of himself and arrogant sky high (before the fight that got cancelled). Now he is finding himself without lucrative opponents, gun shy promoter and a new weight class that is a lot more dangerous for his health. Crocodile tears.

Edwin De Los Santos had a heavy weight cut too after coming from more than a year of inactivity and medical issues like blood clots, yet he tried and did.

Now Edwin has wasted a training camp and weight cut. Perhaps might be the last time we see him at lightweight which is he proper weight class and he is 25 years old. Feel like Keyshawn shot both himself and Santos in the foot. Though at least Edwin got a big paycheck for the short term.

But honestly I think he needs to stick to lightweight, fight Schofield, Bahdi or Roach for a title shot against Davis, Muratalla and Stevenson. Maybe Abdullah Mason next year. Just keep busy for a bit.

I'm happy what happened to Keyshawn. He is an arrogant man who think he is better than what he is ala Kanye west.

All he was, was a weight Bully using CONTE SNAC. Steroids Not Allowed Covered. He tried to CHEAT De Los Santos that night.

Russell is available is he wants real smoke. Teo should be easy to make.
