The on-again, off-again rematch between Chris Eubank Jnr and Conor Benn is apparently back in play.

I apologise in advance. A lot of boxingsceners saw this as a classic first time around. All I saw was a dangerously weight drained boxer win the first 7 rounds, ebb a little and Conor Benn showing what pillow fisted means. The final round reminded me of an infant school playground fight, wild swinging, just hitting the air, with both eyes closed. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I fancied Raquel Welch, some people were wild for Audrey Hepburn.

Hopefully, if this fight is set at 160, there is no rehydration clause as just getting to 160 drains Eubsnk. To insist on further restrictions is a serious safety concern evidenced by his hospitalisation after the first fight, as the damage definitely wasn't due to Benn's punching.

And no one cares. Benn should be fighting at 147 or 154 where the action is, but we all know he wants no real smoke.

So is this going to be 'free' too?

When you buy a used car from Hearn and it breaks down 2 weeks later, but you still go back and buy another one off him. Long life to the moronic British boxing fans!

154 could be stacked but all the big names want to avoid each other

Bud - took a year of to go get the Canelo payday. More chance he retires than head back to 154
Charlo - 2 years out still no fight scheduled
Thurman - came back yet vs a journeyman yet no fight scheduled
Boots - could fight Charlo, Thurman, Madrimov, Muratalaziev, Ortiz, Fundora. But instead trying his best to fight Josh Kelly.
Benn could also go to 154 and fight the names mentioned above

But the big names don't want to risk getting in with each other and their egos will also make it hard for them to agree on splits

They are boxers yet they don't want to RISK losing and play it safe till a big pay day.

Dont forget Ortiz getting "sick" twice, and now electing to face Keith Thurman.
