Comments Thread For: Oscar Duarte powers through Kenneth Sims Jnr in Chicago

In what was intended to be a long-awaited backyard showcase for Kenneth Sims Jnr, it was Oscar Duarte who wins a majority decision off the strength of his constant forward motion and brute-force power.

Anyone know what the deal is with Duarte's left bicep?
Looks injured or otherwise affected somehow.

Louie, there was a whole thread on it here, back in December 2023, saying that Oscar must have torn it at some point and when it healed, it still looked out of shape and smaller.

It’s looked like that awhile, and I could be wrong, but imo it’s definitely from a previously torn bicep.

Hahaha. Duarte beat Sims in his own town and was the one putting the pressure. Good fight but all that talk and trying to ridicule Duarte in hte fight, just made Sims look stup1d.

This card was exciting from start to end. Hope to see both fighters who delivered again in the future.

Sims had two losses at the beginning of his career in 8 rounders and had a controversial draw with Montana Love, he then went in a major 10 win streak, with wins over Batyr Akhmedov and Elvis Rodriguez.

Wouldn't mind if Kenneth Sims Jr fought Regis Prograis and Oscar Duarte fought Alessandro Riguccini for the WBA interim position.
