Kell Brook was the IBF welterweight champ in 2016, you are mad at Pacquiao for going for the WBO welterweight title instead? Kell Brook also moved up to middleweight in 2017-2018.

Errol Spence was the IBF welterweight champ in 2016-2019, you are mad at Pacquiao for going for the WBO/WBA title instead?

Danny Garcia wasn't a title holder for the most part in 2017-2018. (Bob Arum/TR did offer Team Garcia a fight, they priced themselves out of it).

According to Fight Hub’s Marcos Villegas, Top Rank Promotions chief Bob Arum extended a 7-figure proposal to Garcia that amounted from $3 million to $4 million to face Pacquiao. However, his father and trainer Angel Garcia was the one who received the offer and opted to turn it down.

Danny Garcia fought Robert Guerrero in 2016 $1.5 million.

Danny Gracia fought Keith Thurman in 2017 for $2 million.

Of course Manny was the best Roach ever trained. That’s no surprise — I mean, here we are, debating whether he’s better than Duran. But “he trained them all” is a wee bit of an overstatement, don’t you think? I recall someone saying that about Ray Arcel — or maybe it was Arcel himself who said it — that Duran was the best he ever trained, and he trained them all. Anyway, my two cents: Roberto is arguably the 5th best P4P boxer of all time. Pacquiao’s up there himself, but he doesn’t rank quite that high.

          Garcia > Broner

you place too much emphasis on titles rather than the fighters themselves

Of course they do, but titles ain’t what they used to be. How many divisional titles did Ray Robison ever hold? How many do you think he’d have if he competed in the last twenty years? You have to take this idea into consideration.

So, a boxer should secure a non-title fight over a title fight that is easily winnable? Why on earth would a boxer do that? A title win will set you up for bigger fights and the right to demand a higher purse.

If you can't recognize a weak AF "champ", then what's the point of being a FIGHT FAN ????

Some champs are chumps and are insults to the throne.
                  Cherrios being one of them.
